Long Night of Literatures 2024 – Olga Campofreda

In the framework of Long Night of Literatures, organised by EUNIC, India the Italian Cultural Centre presents the writer Olga Campofreda.
Olga Campofreda was born in Caserta in 1987 and lives in London, working as a researcher, writer and journalist. In 2020 she obtained a PhD in Italian studies from University College London where she is currently an honorary research fellow.
She writes about pop culture and literature for Domani Editoriale, F magazine and D – the republic of women, while she collaborates with Ultimo Uomo covering fencing. She is the author of the narrative reportage A San Francisco with Lawrence Ferlinghetti (Giulio Perrone Editore, 2019) and the essay Camerette – a story about youth from the walls of our rooms to social media (Einaudi, 2023). In 2023 she was chosen by Miuccia Prada as curator of the Miu Miu Literary Club. Ragazze perbene (NNE, 2023), her first novel, is currently being translated in Germany and Finland.
