In 1997, along with director Umberto Benedetti Michelangeli, he was honoured with the Italian “Franco Abbiati” award for his artistic merits with the Mantova Chamber Orchestra In 1993, with the acknowledgement of the Ministry of Culture and the support of public and private institutions, he created Tempo d’Orchestra. This very successful concert season is held in the magnificent Bibiena Theatre in Mantova as well as in other venues within the Mantovan territory. During the 2010-2011 academic year, he was entrusted with the post of teaching chamber music in the specialized courses at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome.
