The Ministry of Foreign Affairs provides contributions for the financing of travel and accommodation expenses of researchers, teachers, experts, cultural figures, and cultural operators, both Italian and foreign, invited by universities and cultural institutions to promote collaborations and joint research programs.
WHO CAN APPLY
Researchers, teachers, experts, personalities, and cultural operators:
- a) Italian and foreign residents in Italy for at least two years, invited by foreign universities or cultural institutions for study or research purposes; and
- b) Foreigners and Italians residing abroad invited by Italian universities or cultural institutions for study or research purposes.
Applicants can request a financial contribution from the MAECI to partially cover travel and accommodation expenses for a maximum period of 10 days. The payment of the contribution will take place upon completion of the mission, after presentation of the final activity report, the certificate issued by the host institution of stay, and the travel documents.
HOW TO APPLY
Applicants need to submit an application via email, accompanied by an invitation letter, acceptance letter, curriculum vitae, valid identity document copy, travel documents, boarding passes, a certificate of stay issued by the host organization, and a final report on the completed activities.

Kindly note that only requests for contributions from applicants who hold an official invitation from a university or cultural institution will be accepted.
