The Italian Culture Centre is happy to announce a two-day program together with Kiran Nadar Museum of Art honouring the work of M.F. Husain and the ongoing exhibition The Rooted Nomad at Magazzini del Sale in Venice, curated by Roobina Karode as an independent presentation at the 60th Venice Art Biennale.

An evening of Soz Khawani by Askari Naqvi using poetic descriptions and dialogues to tell a riveting story about the injustices of war and the tragedy of loss -is scheduled for 30th August, at KNMA Saket, 7.00pm onwards. 

Portrayal of battle scenes and war in art a talk by Prof. Chiara Rostagno who will be in conversation with Roobina Karode at the Italian Culture Centre, New Delhi on 31st August, 6.30pm will enlighten about the battle scenes prevalent both in Italian & Indian art expressed through frescos, murals & paintings representing classical myths and historical depictions as analogous to contemporary politics.
