The 29th edition of the European Union Film Festival will be inaugurated by the Italian film La Chimera, directed by Alice Rohrwacher. The film will be introduced by the Director of the Italian Embassy Cultural Centre, Andrea Anastasio, along with one of the stars of the movie Yile Yara Vianello, who will take part in a Q&A session before the screening.
Chimera is a very special and personal quest – that always seems out of reach. For Arthur, this takes the shape of a woman he lost. When he meets the woman’s mother, their relationship and events lead him to explore the loss, longing and relentless pursuit of unattainable dreams.
