Campiello Giovani Prize – 31st Edition

Premio-Campiello

The 31st edition of the Campiello Giovani Prize is now open. Promoted by the Fondazione Il Campiello in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), the competition is open to young people aged 15 to 21 living in Italy and abroad. The initiative aims to encourage reading and creative writing in Italian among younger generations, while also fostering interest in entrepreneurship, business culture, and the world of work. It is open to schools within the Italian Education System Abroad and to Italian language courses offered by Italian Cultural Institutes.

Participants may submit one original short story in Italian on a free theme. Submissions will be evaluated by a Selection Committee and subsequently by the Campiello Giovani Literary Jury, which will select five finalists and the overall winner, as well as possible special awards focusing on sustainability, travel, and business culture. Registration is exclusively online via the official website www.premiocampiello.it (Campiello Giovani section). The deadline for submissions is 15 January 2026 at 6:00 p.m CET.
