Long Night of Literatures 2025

CULTURAL CONTAMINATIONS & TRANSALATIONS(1)
The Long Night of Literatures 2025 is a vibrant evening of readings, encounters and cultural exchange, bringing together authors from across Europe and India in an intimate “speed-dating” style literary format. Organized by the EUNIC India in collaboration with partner cultural institutes, the event will take place in New Delhi on Friday, 21st November at India Habitat Centre.
The Italian Embassy Cultural Centre will participate with the author Clara Nubile.
Clara Nubile is an Italian writer, translator, and scholar from Brindisi. A graduate in Translation from the University of Bologna, she has built her life and work between Italy, India, and Belgium. Her work often explores themes of identity, migration, and belonging, blending poetic language with vivid, transnational perspectives.
Nubile is the author of several acclaimed books, including Io ti attacco nel sangue (2005), Lupo (2007), Tu come tutto quello che tocchi (2012, Bompiani), Squame (2014), Le febbri (2017, Besa Muci), and Trascuranze (2022, Besa Muci). She has also published the critical study The Danger of Gender: Caste, Class and Gender in Contemporary Indian Women’s Writing (Sarup & Sons, 2003).
