The sudden disappearance of the bank-teller Patò, acting in the role of Giuda during a passion play ‘Mortorio’ in a sicilian village Vigata in 1890 gives rise to two hilarious characters Ernesto Bellavia and Paolo Giummaro start investigating and finding out that nothing is as it seems in the life of this irreprehensible man.
