Marco Vezzoso (trumpet) and Alessandro Collina (piano), strong in the success achieved with their previous album of original songs written together, have decided to continue with this formula by creating a collective of artists called TRAVEL (also the title of their first album).
Travel Collective aims to recreate the atmospheres of the different cities where the Duo has performed over the years. Jakarta, Canton and Tokyo are just some of the different musical atmospheres that can be heard in their 2 albums (Travel 2021 and New Way 2023). A musical journey across the globe and through musical styles, which mixes world music with pop, passing through classical music and above all jazz.
Travel, which was recorded with the participation of Trilok Gurtu and Dominique Di Piazza (also present on this recording) was a great success with the public and critics, especially in the United States where it entered the Jazz Week Charts (the chart of specialized radio stations in the USA) at position 81.
During the Indian tour Marco Vezzoso (trumpet) and Alessandro Collina (piano) will be accompanied by drummer Andrea Marchesini and electric bassist Manas Chowdhary.
