Luca, a fifteen-year-old restless Roman, grew up without a father and is unconsciously looking for a guide. Bruno is a professor without children who has left teaching to take refuge in private lessons and takes on writing on commission of other books or biographies of football players and television characters. Luca is a pupil of Bruno. Then one day Bruno discovers that Luca is his son. The two are forced into coexistence that drives Bruno to try to figure out how to relate to a teenager who is inconsistent with rules and study, but full of life.
