Elisabetta Zendri (Ca Foscari Univeristy, Venice) is an internationally recognized expert in Technologies for the heritage. Associate Professor at the University of Ca’ Foscari, she is chairperson of the Degree and Master course in Technologies for the Conservation and the Restoration of Cultural Heritage at the University of Ca’ Foscari, Venice, and teaches courses on Materials and Techniques for the
restoration, Contemporary Art Materials, and Chemistry for Restoration. Her research activities deal, among other themes, on: Durability and conservation of stone materials, Study of new technologies and products for the conservation and restoration of Cultural Heritage assets, Study of archaeological and traditional building materials (mortar, brick, plaster, stone, and pottery), Investigation and conservation protocols for the modern and contemporary mural paintings.
She has collaborated and collaborates in several projects for the restoration of important monuments in Italy and abroad. She presented her research at numerous National and International Conferences and has published more than 150 publications on national and international journals and as books chapters.
