The Chennai International Book Fair (CIBF) returns for its fourth edition from 16–18 January 2026 at Kalaivanar Arangam, Chennai, continuing its growth as an emerging global event for the publishing industry. Organised by the Tamil Nadu Textbook and Educational Services Corporation and the Directorate of Public Libraries, with the support of the Government of Tamil Nadu, CIBF positions itself as a dynamic business-to-business platform for publishers, authors, literary agents, and translators from around the world.

For the first time, the 2026 edition will also be open to the public, featuring panel discussions, workshops, and dedicated sessions on translation and publishing. New highlights include a special “Illustrator Wall” and expanded cross-fair collaboration initiatives, reinforcing the fair’s focus on literary exchange and cultural dialogue.

Italy will be represented by Corraini Edizioni, an independent Italian publishing house and art book producer based in Mantova. Founded in 1973 by Marzia and Maurizio Corraini, Corraini Edizioni is internationally recognised for its artist-driven approach, distinctive children’s books, and long-standing collaborations with leading creatives, most notably Bruno Munari. Its participation underscores the fair’s commitment to innovative publishing and international exchange. Corraini Edizioni
