The admission calls for two of the Master’s Degrees offered by the School of International Studies at the University of Trento. These are the Master’s Degree in International Security Studies (MISS), in collaboration with the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, and the Master’s Degree in European and International Studies (MEIS). For both, the language of all educational activities is English.
The admission calls for “non-European” candidates remain open until 03/04/2026 (this category includes candidates who have:
1. citizenship of countries not belonging to the European Union and are not residents in Italy;
2. citizenship of countries not belonging to the European Union with a residence permit for study in Italy and without residence in Italy;
3. citizenship of countries not belonging to the European Union with a temporary protection permit, without residence in Italy, and who have not obtained a high school diploma in Italy).
For the 2026/2027 academic year, the University of Trento offers 2 scholarships for the Master’s Degree in International Security Studies and 2 scholarships for the Master’s Degree in European and International Studies. These scholarships are worth 7,200 euros per year. Exemption from tuition fees is extended to a larger number of students based on the score assigned in the admission ranking. An additional funding opportunity is also available for the descendants of Trentino emigrants.
