After the great success of our Christmas Carol event, we are excited to share that we’re organizing another concert for our Italian language students to learn more about Italian music. We’ll be learning and performing a selection of Italian songs, and we would love for you to be part of it.
This special concert is being planned on the occasion of the Sanremo Music Festival, one of Italy’s most famous music events. It is an annual festival that has celebrated Italian songwriting and launched many iconic songs and artists for decades.
To help everyone prepare comfortably, we will have three rehearsals on 12th, 13th, and 17th March at the IIC. The timings for the rehearsals will be shared with you closer to the date.
The songs will be shared with you in advance, and you’ll need to practice at home by watching the YouTube video link which will be provided. We will also share the lyrics so you can practice confidently.
If you are an active student of the IIC and would like to perform, please make sure to register by 9th March using the link below.
Also, participating students will be able to invite 2 guests per person to attend the performance.
We hope many of you will join us—let’s celebrate Italian music together
