Federica Colangelo Trio feat. BC Manjunath

Federica Colangelo’s work is defined by continuous exploration, drawing from jazz, 20th-century European and American classical music (including Charles Ives, Philip Glass, John Cage, and Igor Stravinsky), and the intricate rhythmic traditions of South Indian Carnatic music. This unique blend of influences forms the foundation of her distinctive compositional voice.

Some of the most relevant festivals and clubs that have hosted Acquaphonica include Utrecht Jazz Festival, Maastricht Jazz Festival, Pletterij in Haarlem, B flat in Berlin, Jazz Forum Stara Zagora 2016, Burgas Jazz Festival 2016, Dixie Jazz Festival 2016, Varna Jazz Festival 2014, Apollonia Jazz Festival 2014, Bebop Club, Studio 5, Studio 1 National Bulgarian Radio, 12on14 in Poland, Teatr Stary in Lublin, Harenda in Warsaw, PiecArt in Krakow, The Duke, Teatro Grande di Brescia, Iseo Jazz, Vie di Jazz, Lucca Jazz Donna, Piano Piano per Sulmona, Tuscia in Jazz, Camera del Lavoro, and Casa del Jazz.
