Kalàscima
is an infectious trance-folk experience of percussion, vocal, and electronic
sound. As one of Italy’s most acclaimed contemporary musical collaborations,
the Kalàscima sound is unique in its energy and rhythm, a fusion of the Ancient
and Modern in an all night revelation of sound.
The explosive, energetic and captivating Kalàscima features many
fascinating instruments (bagpipe, traditional flutes, italian
organetto), a spectacularly large array of percussion and thrilling
vocal and modern instruments (bass guitar and loop machine).
Kala’scima’s performance will be preceded by a DJ Set by Kartik Bajaj for Scyther Project.
