Emilio Bezzi approached the music at the age of eleven with the clarinet and the guitar, experimenting with different musical genres. In 1999, he began studying Western Classical Music and six years later graduated in Guitar at Milan Conservatory. After that, he took part in masterclasses held by great musicians, including M. Lonardi, who introduced him to antique music and taught him play the lute.In 2013 he obtained his second level lute diploma and graduated in Musicology at the University of Milan. From 2011, Emilio Bezzi carries on his musical career, performing in some of the most prestigious national and international festivals.

Born into a family of musicians, Rohan Dasgupta was first introduced to sitar and Indian Classical Music by his uncle, when he was just a child. He then had the possibility to have numerous life defining sessions with the guru Padmabhushan Ustad Abdul Halim Jaffer Khan, who taught him the intricate and rare “Jafferkhani” style of sitar playing. More than 20 years of rigorous practice and learning have shaped his individual meditative style of sitar playing, whose aim is upholding sitar as a world instrument by pushing it beyond its traditional boundaries and widening its possibilities. He collaborates with several international musicians and performsall over the world.

The two musicians will be accompanied by Arunava Mukherjee’s tabla.
Disciple of Tulsi Narayan Kar from the age of 5 up to the age of 17, Mukherjee continued to study tabla with Pandit Kumar Bose, under whose guidance he received a national scholarship in 2011. Winner of prestigious prizes, among which the 1st prizes of Dover Lane Music Competition and of Chetla Murari Smriti Sangeet Sammilani, Arunava Mukherjee performs on several occasions, sometimes solo, sometimes alongside with other great musicians.
